What we expect:
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Greets guests who arrive by private car, taxi, or limo by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel. Assists guests descending from cars. Gives verbal greeting to guests arriving on foot. Opens hotel doors for all guests.
Directs hotel guests to the Front Desk for check-in.
Provides guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions. Hails taxis as needed.
Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, etc.
Greets all guests passing through Front Door and offers them assistance .
Ideal candidate will have:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both in person and by telephone.
Knowledge of Opera is preferred.
Ability to learn multiple computer software and accurately input information into the systems.
Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department.
Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.
Previous hotel front desk and hospitality experience is strongly preferred. Must be available to work weekends, days, evenings and holidays.
Excellent reading, writing & oral proficiency in the English language.
Good organizational skill and ability to multitask.
Attention to detail and h igh level of creativity
Able to negotiate, organize, delegate & work under pressure
