WHAT IS THIS POSITION ABOUT?


The CA&C Supervisor provides operational support to the CA&C function, collaborating with relevant colleagues from across JTI. They are responsible for internal and external communications and managing associated vendor(s) and supporting the CA&C Director and CA&C Manager in research associated with JTI's operating environment. Furthermore, they are responsiblle for managing and reporting the functional budget and supporting the development and communication of internal policies.


WHAT WILL YOU DO?


Support Corporate Affairs (CA)

  • Maintain CA&C wiki and stakeholder database (including updating stakeholder information and minutes)
  • Monitor fiscal, regulatory, legislative and political developments by analysing updates from external partners and leveraging internal media monitoring platform (Brandwatch)
  • Provide frequent updates of developments in external environment to CA&C Manager and Director
  • Draft weekly / monthly update on (CA) as requested by CA&C Manager and/or Director
  • Prepare letter(s) to stakeholders and external partners as instructed by CA&C Manager and/or Director
  • Manage GHE (Gifts, Hospitality and Entertainment) and update system quarterly as instructed by CA&C Manager

Support Communications and Community Investment

  • Monitor news update from vendor and provide updates on critical news that might impact the company
  • Manage Communication Investment (CI) initiatives (from budget planning to delivery)
  • Provide support in planning and executing internal events as per instructions from CA&C Manager

Support product registration and Pictorial Health Warning (PHW) rotation process

  • Work with M&S to ensure necessary licenses are secured in a timely manner (e.g. new product launches)
  • Work with M&S to ensure compliant rotation of PHWs across product portfolio
  • Act as point of contact for factory partner for dossier submission and follow up

Monitor updates from and activities of business associations and support JTI Vietnam's collaboration

  • Monitor and communicate to wider CA&C Team the activities of relevant assocications (e.g. Eurocham, Amcham, Japan Chamber of Commerce...), and opportunities for collaboration
  • Manage payment of associated fees in line budget

Provide day to day support to CA&C Director and CA&C Manager on functional projects & tasks

  • Maintain good and established practices of CA&C team with regards to ways of working, including usage and maintainance of the CA&C SharePoint, wiki and MS Teams channels

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


Qualifications & Experience

  • University degree or above. Major in Legal/PR degree is a plus
  • At least 5-7 years in corporate/government/regulatory affairs, with experience in policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement
  • Working in the tobacco industry or another sensitive industry is a plus
  • Fluent English & Vietnamese
  • Strong interpersonal relations & influencing skills
  • Strategic thinker
  • Basic financial acumen
  • Corporate/external/government affairs experience
  • Entrepeuneurial mindset
  • Paralegal knowledge is a plus
